Wild Game Recipes: Crock Pot Venison BBQ

Crock Pot Venison BBQ

1 small venison roast
1 large onion, quartered
1 package Lipton Cup of Onion Soup Mix
4 strips of bacon
Pinch of fennel
Pinch of dill
Salt and pepper, to taste
Garlic salt, to taste
Barbecue sauce
Brown sugar

Wrap roast in bacon, and secure with toothpicks. Place in crock pot. Add onion soup mix, fennel, dill, salt and pepper, garlic salt and onion. Fill crock pot half full of water, and cook on medium heat until meat is falling off the bones. Allow to cool until you can handle meat. Remove meat from bones, chop and place in baking dish. Cover with BBQ sauce, and sprinkle with brown sugar.
