Bartletts Ferry Fishing Report – June 2025

GON Staff | May 28, 2025

Bartletts Ferry: Level: 0.9 feet below 521. Temp: Mid to upper 80s. Clarity: Clear.

Bass: Tournament angler Tyler Morgan reports, “Boat traffic will be bad, but you can catch a few fish. It was taking just over 10 pounds to win Tuesday night tournaments in late May.” Tyler and Adam placed second with 9.14 in a three-hour May 17 Tuesday night tournament. “The water and air is getting hot, and it’s time to look for mayflies. Bluff banks on the river from the mouth of Halawakee Creek to Blanton Creek are the best areas. Cast a Spro popping frog under overhanging bushes and follow up with a wacky-rigged weightless Senko. Stick with the main river, and current is key. Moving water is cooler and will always help the bite. Fish the docks in the river upstream of Blanton Creek for some good fish in June. Hit shady areas in the bright sun with an Ace City Jig. Also, flip a Missile Bait D Bomb or D Stroyer or a Crush City Bronco Bug creature bait to any isolated wood cover up the river.”
