Wild Game Recipes: Deer Burgers
This recipe is great to use during the summer when you are firing up the grill and wanting to sizzle up some venison burgers.
What You’ll Need:
2-lbs. ground venison
Lea & Perrin’s Worchestershire sauce
Uncooked oatmeal (1/2 a handful)
1 envelope – Lipton onion soup mix
Mix the venison and dry oatmeal, ad a liberal amount of Wooster sauce — make it soggy, the oatmeal absorbs the liquid and binds the burgers together. Black pepper to taste, add the onion soup, mix, blend and shape into burgers. Cover and let sit in fridge for 3-4 hours. Grill to medium or medium well.
