We have caught some nice fish and lots of big numbers. We have been catching fish a lot of different ways. The best bite has been fishing herring on downlines at the 30- to 50-foot depths. We have also caught a lot fish trolling, but the most fun way has been on topwater. It has been years since I have seen topwater this good. If it’s any indication of what’s fixing to happen…
