Lake Nottely Fishing Report – October 2018

GON Staff | September 26, 2018

Nottely: Level: 7 feet low. Temp: 82. Clarity: Clear.

Linesides: Guide Jeremy Seabolt reports, “It’s about time for the water to start cooling down, and that means the topwater bite will get fired off. We have had an awesome September. We’ve been catching fish about every way you can. The lead core and u-rig bite has been great. Getting on some big schools fish has been, and will continue to be, pretty common. They will be holding over deep river channels going into October. We should have a big topwater bite soon as the water drops a few more degrees. We start pulling freelines and watching for schooling fish between Points 9 and 5, so keep some kind of topwater plug handy, and be ready.”
