Lake Nottely Fishing Report May 2019

GON Staff | April 30, 2019

Nottely: Level: 0.1 feet low. Temp: 61-65 degrees.Clarity: Stained.

Linesides: Guide Jeremy Seabolt reports, “The fishing has been good. This has been one of the best Aprils I have seen in a long time. We have been catching a lot fish. We are fishing mostly shad on planer boards and pulling large herring on freelines. Shallow flats of the creek channel have been holding fish. Going into May, we will be still fishing about the same way until around the third week, and then we well start looking for the fish to start showing up in deeper water. Then we well start doing more downlines. If you can find the bait balls, you can find the fish. Don’t forget the new bait shop that has opened up at 696 Deavers Road. They have all your striper baits, so stop in and get your herring and shad, and get out on the water and catch some fish.”
