Lake Nottely Fishing Report – September 2018

GON Staff | September 4, 2018

Nottely: Level: 2.3 feet low. Temp: 79 to 84 degrees. Clarity: Clear.

Linesides: Guide Jeremy Seabolt reports, “Fishing has been the best I have seen in a few years. August has always been good, but we have been catching some nice fish and good numbers. We have been catching stripers from the dam all way up to Point 5. The fish are in big schools. You just have to have good electronics to find them. We have been catching most fish in deeper water. Drop downlined herring 30 to 70 feet deep going in September. I feel like we are going have a awesome topwater bite this year. We have been seeing a lot of big schools of threadfin shad this year, so I would have some sort of topwater plug ready. I will still be graphing and looking for the fish in same spots.”
