Lake Nottely Fishing Report – April 2019

GON Staff | March 25, 2019

Nottely: Level: 9 feet low. Temp: 58-64 degrees. Clarity: Lightly stained.

Linesides: Guide Jeremy Seabolt reports, “The fishing has been hot. We have been catching lots of nice fish and have had some awesome numbers. The fish have been holding up shallow on points. We have been catching fish from Point 3 all the way up the river on large herring and shad. Going into April, we will be fishing up shallow with shad and herring. April is a good time to catch a trophy fish. It is also a good time to be throwing a Red Fin and working it slowly on long points. There is also a new self service bait store that will be opened by mid April. They will have all the big herring and shad that you will need to fish with. They are located at 696 Deavers Road, 1 mile from the boat ramp.”
