Rylan Neal, 11, with a crazy-looking Lowndes County bird he killed on April 1. It has characteristics of a smoke-phase gobbler that just didn’t fully get there. Very cool bird, Rylan!

Lilly Belle Hill, 3, of LaGrange, caught her first fish on May 2 in a Troup County pond.

John Adams, 10, of Comer, caught this bass in Madison County on March 7. It was John’s first bass caught on a plastic worm using the new tackle box and rod he got for Christmas from his grandparents.

Joby Lee Ward, 7, was fishing with Pawpaw and Mimi at Lake Blackshear when he landed this eating-size catfish.

Jasper Witherow, 11, spent a bunch of time in the Murray County woods to finally take his first buck.

Hutson Hammond, 5, used a Beetle Spin in Pappy’s Lee County pond to catch his first bass on March 7.

Eli Patterson caught this striper standing on the river bank Feb. 24. It weighed a little more than 17 pounds.

This 1-lb., 1-oz. bream was caught in the Savannah River by 9-year-old Easton Tillman.

Cohen Nipper is just 5 years old but caught this bass in a farm pond all by himself.

Charley Harrison, 7, killed his first buck this year. In addition, he also shot his first doe and his first duck. Great start, Charley!

Chandler Abbott caught this shellcracker on Lake Blackshear on Aug. 28. It was one of 14 fish caught.

Callie Crawford, 10, caught her first catfish at Hamburg State Park.

Brodie Hobbs, 9, of Columbus, loves ripping lips. He caught this bass Aug. 3.

Brady Padgett, 5, of Athens, caught this 7-lb bass in Oconee County last May.

Five-year-old Roselynn Hall, of Guyton, got busy catching bass in Effingham County on the Ogeechee River.

This Brooks County 6-pounder is a PB for Austin Lyle, 15, of Jackson.

Addy Howell, of Woodstock, was 11 when she took her first deer using her PawPaw’s AR15 in Burke County.
