Wyatt Davis, 10, of Lumpkin County, killed a black coyote on his property on Jan. 23.

Branson Campbell, 11, of Lexington, with an 8-pointer taken in Oglethorpe County on Jan. 5.

Ten-year-old John Chapman, of Senoia, killed this nice Talbot County gobbler on opening day of youth season.

Aaron Hall, 6, of Killeen, Texas, with a Lake Jackson bass caught March 10, 2024. It was his first bass.

Gabriel White, 7, of Perry, caught a 2-lb. bass from a local pond on May 18 while fishing with a Zoom Fat Albert Grub.

Jackson Tanner, 6, of Rome, with his personal best bass. He caught it on July 22.

Sammy Smolík, 6, of Monroe, caught his first big bass in Walton County on April 4.

Braxton Goolsby with a 40-lb. cat caught on the Ocmulgee River in Juliette on May 2.

Whip Whipple Jr., 9, of Milledgeville, with a 9-pounder caught in Baldwin County last October.

Marianne Wetzel, 7, was excited to catch this catfish on July 13 in a private lake in Oglethorpe County.

Stetson Jackson, 12, caught this catfish off his dock in the Ogeechee River in Midville on July 13.

Brady White, 12, of Dallas, with a spike taken in Paulding County. It was his first deer.

Jake Sheridan, 7, killed his first deer on the family farm in Greene County on Oct. 19. He was using his grandpa’s 30-30 rifle.

Tripp Faulkner, 9, of Perry, with his first deer, an 8-pointer taken on his grandfather’s farm in Taylor County.

Jace and Brantley Robinson, of Tunnel Hill, went trout fishing at Blue Ridge WMA on June 26. Brantley caught one, and Jace caught seven.

Steven Goodroe, 8, tagged out on this nice Pulaski County gobbler on April 7. The bird had a 10 1/2-inch beard with 1-inch spurs. He has tagged out in his first three turkey seasons.

Walker Anderson, 7, of Hiram, got a triple-bearded gobbler on April 28 while hunting with a .410 shotgun.

Wyatt Harkins, 9, killed this bird on the second day of season with his 410. The gobbler was strutting at 20 yards.

Addisyn Harden caught and reeled in her first bass on June 20 out of a Toombs County pond. She was so excited and nervous, but she won the fight!

Ben Hinson, 10, of Omega, caught this big bass on May 10. The fish weighed 8.3 pounds and was a new PB for Ben.

Chloe Beasley, 5, of Jackson, caught this 2.2-lb. largemouth while fishing in a private pond on April 5 in Jasper County. She also caught 16 bream that day, but the bass was all she talked about for a week.

Cooper Boling, 15, caught this 7.28-lb. bass on June 3 in Canton while throwing a Whopper Plopper.

John Thomas Carter caught this 8 1/2-lb. bass in a private pond in Effingham County on June 25.

Ten-year-old Hunter Cantrell, of Jasper, with his biggest crappie so far. It was caught out of his hunting camp lake in south Georgia.

Anaston Whitlock, 13, of Franklin County, tagged out in Georgia on her second buck on Nov. 17.

Austin Henkel, 6, of Athens, killed his first buck on Oct. 19 in Crawford County. He was hunting with his dad and papa. The buck was an 8-pointer that scored 120.

Emerson Charpentier, 8, of Covington, with a great Newton County buck from Oct. 19.

Landyn Byer, 12, from Meriwether County, went off on his own without Dad for the first time on Nov. 29 and was able to seal the deal on this nice 8-point.

Tucker Rice, 7, hunted hard with his dad and grandpa. He said all his prayers paid off when he killed the biggest buck of his life after he kept praying for an 8-pointer. It happened on Dec. 14 in Catoosa County.

Walker Thomas, 12, of Blairsville, downed this nice 8-point in Union County on Nov. 15.

Lanier and Ace Hill, of Lavonia, with two Clarks Hill catfish from May 24. To say they were happy is an understatement.

Cambree Sanford, 5, attended the Chattahoochee National Forest Fish Hatchery Kids’ Rodeo in Suches on June 6 and caught her limit and completed WRD’s Georgia Trout Slam. She is pictured with a brown, brook and rainbow trout.

Satcher Young, 11, of Elberton, caught this trout on the Hiwassee River in Towns County.
