Ag-Pro GON Outdoor Blast Set For July 26-28

GON Staff | April 10, 2019

The Infinite Energy Center will once again be the site for this year’s Ag-Pro GON Outdoor Blast. This year’s hunting show will take place July 26-28, and all the greatness that has always made up the Ag-Pro GON Outdoor Blast will once again be at the show.

The Ag-Pro GON Outdoor Blast will again feature hundreds of hunting and fishing vendors offering products and services, and expect to find some great deals as we bring back Blast Bargains for 2019.

Also, the Wall of Fame will be back. In addition to some of last season’s best Georgia bucks, the Wall of Fame this year will include a great addition, a display of Georgia’s Greatest Whitetails that will be hosted by outdoor writer and author Duncan Dobie

This year’s Ag-Pro GON Outdoor Blast includes the return of the Gun-An-Hour-Giveaway. Every hour a name will be drawn from Ag-Pro GON Outdoor Blast attendees, and the winner will pick up their new gun right there and take it home.

The Georgia State Duck Calling Contest will be Sunday, July 28. Top competition duck callers will compete for a ticket to the famous World’s Championship in Stuttgart, Arkansas. For information on the calling competition, send a message through the Georgia State Duck Calling Contest Facebook page, or call Jamey Thomas at (706) 614-6620.

Returning to the Blast this year will be Steve Scruggs with his “Snakes Alive” show. New to the show this year will be the birds with the Georgia Falconry Association.

The Truck-Buck Shoot-Out finals are Sunday as big-buck contest weekly winners compete for a new truck from John Megel Chevy or a Beast Ultimate Hunting Buggy. Friday will see the GON’s Youth Big-Buck Contest as kids shoot for a $3,000 Adventure Outdoors shopping spree and Woods-N-Water dream hunt.

New this year will be Seminar Saturday, where we’ve partnered with Georgia R3 to share information the average hunter can use in the deer woods.

Your entry is good for the day you enter and you must be present to get your free gun. This program is made possible by our partnerships with 30-30 Ministries and the Georgia Hunting & Fishing Federation.
Chevy Ride & Drive: What a great way to choose your next ride. Sign up and step outside to a new Chevy waiting just for you. Your local Atlanta Chevy dealers will have a variety of trucks and cars ready and waiting. Heck they even give you a gift just for taking a drive. The Chevy Ride & Drive will be available to all Outdoor Blast attendees on Saturday, July 27 and Sunday, July 28.
