Russell: Level: 0.2 feet low. Temp: Low 60s. Clarity: Some stain.

Bass: Jerry Kotal reports, “We are catching fish in the backs of creeks on white and chartreuse spinnerbaits and buzzbaits. We are also catching fish midway in the creeks off the points with some shad pattern topwater baits and green-pumpkin lizard Carolina rigs. The fishing pattern and bait should be the same all the way through May.”
