Lake Russell Fishing Report – June 2019

GON Staff | May 28, 2019

Russell: Level: 0.2 feet low. Temp: 80 degrees. Clarity: Clear.

Bass: Tournament angler Kerry Partain reports, “The bass fishing is good for both largemouth and spotted bass. With the warmer weather, the bass are beginning to transition to their summer pattern, so the morning and evening bites are best. We have been catching a lot of spotted bass 10 to 15 feet deep on main-lake and secondary points using a Zoom Finesse worm on a Carolina rig or drop shot.”
