Some squirrels appear to be benefiting from the coronavirus pandemic. Security camera video footage captured a New Jersey squirrel snatching two slices of fresh pizza out of a box that was purposely left on a front porch by a Grubhub delivery driver after using a “contactless” delivery method brought on by coronavirus.

A mother from Montclair, N.J., ordered in because she wanted to take a break from cooking, the New York Post reports. She ordered a pizza, which was delivered using the contactless method due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. After the food was left on her porch, the mother, unfortunately, discovered that a squirrel had beaten her to the food.”

The New York Post released video that shows the crafty squirrel lifting the pizza box and taking two slices of pizza. The mother did report the loss to Grubhub, and they made a refund without asking any questions.
