Lake Chatuge Fishing Reports

Chatuge: Level: 0.4 feet below 1925. Temp: 69-72 degrees. Clarity: Clear Bass: Eric Welch, of Welch’s Guide Service, reports, “Fishing has been good. The spawn is pretty much over, so the fish are in postspawn and have been feeding heavily. I’ve been catching fish around rocky banks and pebble flats, throwing a drop shot, shaky head and wacky rig. Since the spawn is over, there are bass guarding fry around docks and brush. There are multiple lures you can throw in these areas. Try a Zoom Fluke or Trick Worm and paddletail swimbaits.
