Lake Chatuge Fishing Reports

Chatuge: Level: 4.2 feet below 1925. Temp: 78-80 degrees. Clarity: Clear Bass: Guide Eric Welch, of Welch’s Guide Service, reports, “Fishing has been good. The lake level has been dropping along with the water temp. There have been fish breaking in the morning and throughout the day. I’m starting my morning out throwing a Berkley Cane Walker, Zoom Fluke and an Ima Stix. On cloudy days, I’m throwing a natural shad pattern. If it’s sunny, I’m throwing chrome. I will work these baits on flats, humps and over offshore brush. I will also work these baits over points and follow…
