Lake Russell Fishing Report – November 2021

GON Staff | October 28, 2021

Russell: Level: Full. Temp: 70 degrees. Clarity: Stained.

Bass: Tournament angler Kerry Partain reports, “The fishing has been tough the last couple of weeks because the lake is turning over heavy places. However, November should be on fire once the water begins to clear up and you can catch both numbers of spots and a few quality largemouth. You can also catch them on a variety of baits both shallow and deep. For shallow largemouth, a buzzbait, crankbait, ChatterBait and jig are what I like to throw, but for numbers of spots, a drop shot, shaky head and jigging spoon are my go-to baits.”
