Lake Russell Fishing Report – February 2021

GON Staff | January 29, 2021

Russell: Level: Full pool. Temp: Low 50s. Clarity: Clear.

Bass: Tournament angler Kerry Partain reports, “The bass fishing is still good and should continue to get better with the longer days and warmer temperatures. The last couple of weeks we have been catching fish on spoons, drop shots and jigs on points and ditches in 25 to 35 feet of water. As we move into February, the bigger bass should start moving up shallow and can be caught on spinnerbaits, jigs and crankbaits around rocks and wood.”
