Haven McCowan, of Covington, killed his first buck on November 29 — this Jasper County 8-pointer. The day before, he shot his first-ever deer, a doe.

Hunter Morrison, 8, of Pembroke, killed his first gobbler while hunting with his Gramps, Carl Speed, in Liberty County.

While hunting with his father, Tim, Justin Johnson, 12, of Butler, dropped his first buck, this tight-racked Taylor County 8-pointer.

This Pike County buck was killed by Tanner Snellgrove, of Newnan. He took the
8-pointer on October 23.
