Lake Russell Fishing Report – February 2025

GON Staff | January 29, 2025

Russell: Level: 1.4 foot below 475. Temp: 45-48 degrees. Clarity: Clear.

Bass: Tournament angler Kerry Partain reports, “The bass fishing is still good and should continue to get better with the longer days and warmer temperatures. Looking at my Lowrance graphs all day really takes a toll on my back and neck, so I’d like to thank Dr. Giles, Dr. Morgan and staff at Grand Oak Healthcare for their chiropractic adjustments. The last couple of weeks we have been catching fish on spoons, drop shots and jig-head minnows in creeks and ditches in 55 to 65 feet. As we move into February, the bigger bass should start moving up shallower in the creeks and can be caught on spinnerbaits, jigs and crankbaits around rocks and wood
