Gavin Oliver, 13, of Palm Beach Gardens, Fla., caught this 10-10 bass in a Macon County private pond on Sept. 2.

Haddon Collins, 12, of Plains, caught an 8-lb. bass at a private pond in Macon County. He was using a frog on 30-lb. braid.

Kenslee Kelley, 14, of Tallahassee, Fla., killed her first two deer the weekend of Jan. 6-7 in Early County, including this nice 7-pointer.

Reagan Paulus, 8, of Loganville, with a crossbow buck taken on Sept. 23 in Gwinnett County. It was her first buck.

Hilton Hobby, 11, of Dawsonville, shot his first doves while on the opening-day quota hunt at Dawson Forest WMA.

Dylan Cummings, of Covington, with an 8.9-lb. catfish from Lake Oconee.

Greyson Keene, 13, was turkey hunting in Ideal with his granddaddy, David Keene, when this coyote came in to a box call.

Waylon Sheets, 5, of Melbourne, Fla., with a Laurens County crappie.

Brady Turk, 8, with his 6 1/2-year-old buck that had a 20-inch spread harvested in Macon County.

Brooks Haney, 14, of Sparta, killed his first buck on Jan. 6 in Hancock County. It was his second season of deer hunting.

Clayton Segers, 14, with a 140-inch Hart County buck taken Nov. 28.

Cullen Huffman took his first deer in Wilkes County on Oct. 19, 2023.

Grayson Crum, 7, turned down multiple shooters until he finally found one he wanted. He made a 210-yard shot in Dooly County to take down this 5 1/2-year-old buck.

Madison Suttles killed her first deer on Nov. 20 on her family’s farm in Sumter County. Her father and brother Colby were with her in the stand when she shot.

Hadley Fountain, daughter of GON Hunt Advisor TJ Fountain, enjoyed an opening-day dove hunt with family and friends in Wheeler County.

Brady Arledge, 13, of Chatham County, was fishing for mullet in the Altamaha River in early July when he caught this shad.

Liam Evans and his brother Riley, 8, with a nice striper caught from Lake Russell. The boys really enjoy going fishing with their dad.

Eli Green, 6, of Chatsworth, with a Toccoa River trout from May 11.

Averee Hart, 13, with a 22-lb. gobbler she took in Haralson County on March 23. It was her first turkey!

Bridger Chitwood, 7, of Rocky Face, made an exceptional 50-yard shot on opening day of Youth Weekend in Murray County.

Wyatt Newham, 7, of Lake Park, harvested his first turkey on March 23 in Echols County. The bird was harvested late morning after a quiet and slow start.
