Roasted Doves
15 dove breasts
Juice of two lemons
3/4 cup Worcestershire sauce
15 half bacon slices
12 ounces orange juice
Salt and pepper, to taste
Place dove breasts in large bowl. Make a marinade of lemon juice, salt and pepper, and Worcestershire sauce. Pour over dove breasts. Cover and place in refrigerator overnight. Remove from marinade following day. Wrap each dove breast with bacon and secure with toothpick. Place dove breasts in large baking dish and pour orange juice over dove. Bake at 350 degrees for 35 minutes or until doves are tender. Place on broil several minutes at the end to brown.
