Fried Dove Breasts And White Gravy

15 dove breasts

2 eggs

1 quart of milk

1 cup of flour

¼ cup of cornstarch

2 tsp salt

1 tsp pepper

1 tsp chili powder

Peanut oil, for frying

Mix the egg and milk together in a large bowl. Put all dove breasts in the milk mixture and refrigerate for one hour. Remove the dove from the refrigerator. Combine all dry ingredients except cornstarch in a bowl. In a cast iron skillet, add 2 inches of peanut oil and heat until 350 degrees. Dip each dove breast in the flour mixture and make sure it is evenly coated. Put coated dove into the hot oil and cook for about 3-5 minutes on each side. Repeat until all dove breasts are done. Place cooked dove breasts in crock pot on low and add remaining two cups of milk and ¼ cup of cornstarch. Cook until dove breast are tender and make their own gravy.
