Wild Game Recipes: Baked Flounder

GON Staff | June 3, 2014

Over the weekend you headed to your favorite tidal creek to put some flounder in the cooler, huh? Now you want to know how to cook it? Well it doesn’t take a seasoned chef (no pun intended) to tell you that flat fish are some good eatin’.
This is a great-sounding recipe for cooking your catch.

You’ll need:
flounder
salt
pepper
garlic
Old Bay seasoning
bacon
tomato

Preheat your oven to 350 degrees. Cut several slits across each fish. Season with salt, pepper, and Old Bay to taste. Lay three strips of bacon and four slices of tomato across each flounder, and put fish in a foil-covered, flat pan. Cook for 35-45 minutes.
