Ag-Pro Outdoor Blast Reset For Sept. 25-27
Social distancing restrictions postpone GON’s outdoor show.
GON recently made the decision to postpone its annual hunting show until late September in light of social distancing restrictions that would have been in place if the show were to take place in its usual time slot in late July.
The Ag-Pro GON Outdoor Blast will take place Sept. 25-27 at the Infinite Energy Center, the same venue the popular hunting show has been hosted at since 2012.
“With a goal of trying to get as many folks in the door to visit vendors and attend the entertaining shows provided by the GON Shoot-Outs and Snakes Alive programs, we had to look at a new date,” said Mindy Burns, show director for the Blast. “The number of show-goers in the building would have been limited and so would the number of folks who could watch the Shoot-Outs and other programs. We certainly understand the late July restrictions, so we’re ready to move forward with the September date and make this show great.”
Expect more information to come in the next several issues of GON and at GON.com. However, expect more of the same great things at the Ag-Pro GON Outdoor Blast in September.
The Wall of Fame, Georgia’s Greatest Whitetails and demonstrations with Snakes Alive and the Georgia Falconry Association will be happening throughout the weekend. The very popular Gun-An-Hour-Giveaway will once again be back, where GON gives away one gun an hour for the entire weekend.
GON’s Youth Big-Buck Shoot-Out will be held Saturday, Sept. 26 at 5 p.m., and the Truck-Buck Shoot-Out will be hosted on Sunday, Sept. 27 at 3:30 p.m.
