2022 Ag-Pro GON Outdoor Blast Set For July 29-31

GON inks partnership with LakePoint Champions Center to host the next three Outdoor Blast events.

GON Staff | March 30, 2022

We are thrilled to announce that the Ag-Pro GON Outdoor Blast will be held for the next three years at the LakePoint Champions Center.

The 2022 Outdoor Blast, presented by Georgia Drives Chevy and sponsored by Apex Competitions, takes place July 29-31. We’d love to see everyone back in Emerson, so please save the date and get your hotel room reserved soon.

The LakePoint Champions Center building is huge, with more than 170,000 square feet for vendors and exhibits. The 2022 Ag-Pro GON Outdoor Blast, presented by Georgia Drives Chevy and sponsored by Apex Competitions, will be the biggest ever.

It is no easy task to pull off a three-day event that sees up to 10,000 sportsmen walk through the doors to visit and shop at more than 300 vendor booths. The biggest challenge is where to fit all those folks! In the entire state of Georgia, you can count on one hand the number of buildings that could host the event—and several are smack downtown in Atlanta. Because of traffic and crime, those downtown Atlanta locations end up at the bottom of our list of potential homes for the Outdoor Blast.

Last year’s Outdoor Blast was held for the first time at the LakePoint Champions Center, and even with the challenges of moving the show to a brand new location and holding it right when the Delta variant of COVID was sweeping through the country, vendors and attendees gave GON a big thumbs up on the new location.

Vendors have locked down most of the booth space for the 2022 show, but LakePoint is huge, so some booths are still available. Come be a part of this event that celebrates hunting and fishing. To inquire about a booth, call Mindy Burns at 800.438.4663 or email [email protected].
