The 2020 GON Ag-Pro Outdoor Blast has been officially canceled.
“This was a tough decision, and not one we took lightly,” said GON Publisher Mike Rhodes. “We looked at every angle and possibility for holding the show this year, but we think canceling is the right call.
“We look forward to this event every year. It’s a weekend when sportsmen get to see each other and reconnect, find bargains, and view great exhibits like the Wall of Fame deer display. It’s also an important weekend for hunting and fishing related businesses, many of them Georgia based. But there’s just too much uncertainty right now and too many restrictions,” Mike said.
The 2020 Blast had already been rescheduled to Sept. 25-27 from its traditional late July dates, but continued restrictions due to COVID-19 concerns ultimately made trying to have the 2020 show unworkable.
“So much planning goes into making this show a good experience for attendees and a success for vendors. It was time to pull the plug on 2020 and start working on the 2021 Blast,” Mike said.
The dates for the 2021 Ag-Pro Outdoor Blast are already on the calendar for July 30 to Aug. 1 at the Infinite Energy Center off Sugarloaf Parkway in Duluth.
