2015 Outdoor Blast Coming July 24-26
Vendors, Fun and Camo Fellowship for Sportsmen's Kickoff at the Gwinnett Center
GON Staff | May 28, 2015
Whether you come to the Outdoor Blast to shop, win a gun in the Gun-An-Hour-Giveaway, or simply as an excuse to put on the camo and get ready for hunting season, just be there.
The Outdoor Blast, GON’s annual kick-off to hunting season, is coming to the Gwinnett Center July 24-26.
The three-day show will again feature hundreds of hunting and fishing vendors offering only outdoor products and services. GON does not allow vendors unless they have outdoor-related products, so you won’t see the flea-market, foot-massage and vacation-marketing booths of other shows.
Highlights of this year’s Outdoor Blast include a return of the Gun-An-Hour-Giveaway. Every hour on the hour, a name will be drawn, and the winner will pick up their new gun right there and take it home. There will be 21 guns to be given away during the weekend. Also, the Wall of Fame, a display of the state’s best bucks from last season, is only at the Outdoor Blast.
Friday evening at 6 p.m., the weekly winners in GON’s Youth Big-Buck Contest will shoot for a $3,000 shopping spree at Adventure Outdoors and a Woods-N-Water dream hunt.
On Saturday and Sunday, the Blast will host the annual Truck-Buck Shoot-Out. Watch the drama unfold as a pellet-rifle competition decides who drives off in a new John Megel Chevy truck.
