Bass: Tournament angler Tyler Morgan, with Summerland Outdoors, won the March 22 Lazy Man tournament with 14-11, beating the second-place weight of 14-10. Bass are hard-core spawning in April. Fish the back halves of pockets in Halawakee Creek. Early mornings, throw a buzzbait and a frog in the shallows. When it’s bright enough to see, look for bass on beds or cruising.
