Lake Jackson Fishing Report November 2014

GON Staff | October 29, 2014

Jackson: Level: 0.6 feet above full pool. Temp: 65-69 degrees. Clarity: Mostly clear.

Bass:
Aaron Batson reports, “Bass fishing is good. Spots are the most consistent bite and are chasing bait in the pockets down the lake. Work a Lucky Craft Pointer 78 in the ditches and flats. Also, try to yo-yo a Fish Head Spin on these places. You can slow down and work a light Carolina rig or split-shot rigged Trixster Money Maker worm for more bites. Add some JJ’s Magic dye to the tips of the worms for best results. Later this month, fish will move to deeper areas, and the same baits will work. Just work them slower and deeper. Also throw in a 7/8-oz. War Eagle jigging spoon for deeper fish.”
