Lake Jackson Fishing Report May 2015

GON Staff | April 30, 2015

Jackson: Level: 1.6 feet above full pool. Temp: 68-74 degrees. Clarity: Stained.

Bass:
Tournament angler Aaron Batson reports, “Bass fishing is good. Flip wood cover with a 1/4-oz. Net Boy Baits jig in black and brown. Tip the jig with a Trixster Custom Baits Crusty Crawler. Dipping the plastic in J.J.’s Magic will help the bite. Also, fish an all-chartreuse spinnerbait in heavy-stained water for some good shallow fish. Bass will stay shallow with the heavy rains and heavy stain.”
