Lake Jackson Fishing Report April 2015

GON Staff | March 25, 2015

Jackson: Level: 1 foot above full pool. Temp: 57-60 degrees. Clarity: Stained.

Bass:
Good. Tournament angler Aaron Batson reports, “Fish are being caught staging at the mouths of coves and pockets on Lucky Craft Pointer jerkbaits, 300 Bandits, and 1/2-oz. Rat-L-Traps. Once they commit to shallow cover to spawn, flip any wood cover and docks with a 1/4-oz. Net Boy Baits jig in green pumpkin or brown. Tip the jig with a Trixster Custom Baits Crusty Craw. Dipping the plastic in JJ’s Magic will help the bite.”
