Run Fawn! Run! “This pic was taken at our farm in Toombs County,” said John Peebles, of Thomson. “I had been seeing this fawn with its mom crossing here everyday on my MoultrieMobile for a couple weeks,” John said. “I was kind of shocked and sad at the same time when this pic came over my mobile phone. That’s Mother Nature though, sometimes she can be cruel.”

Food Plot Meet And Greet: GON member Keith Dinning, of Marietta, said there were plenty of deer on the food plot the morning of June 21, but this young buck went to the other side of the field to investigate a turkey rather than hang with the herd.

Had Enough Of This Coon: This picture was taken in Upson County at 6:11 a.m. on July 17. GON member Alan Ratliff, of The Rock, said the pictures taken before this one showed the buck staring at the coon.  “Appears the buck finally had enough of the raccoon eating his food and started throwing punches!” Alan said.

Coyote Catches Bartow County Fawn: “One more reason to take out every coyote you see while on the deer stand,” says GON member Jim Maus, of Acworth. Jim’s trail-camera got this picture on July 7 at 10:23 p.m. on his Bartow County property.
