Kicking Up Dust On The Chase: With another dry fall brewing across much of Georgia from a lack of rain, here’s some reason for optimism for the upcoming rut. GON subscriber Robert Williamson, of Swainsboro, got this photo of an Emanuel County buck kicking up dust while chasing a doe on Oct. 25, 2022 during a very dry period.

Yote’s Got Hops: A Walker County coyote got some air—but apparently not quite enough—to catch a raccoon scurrying up a tree. Dalton’s Trent Kiniry of Theft Creek Outdoors got this great trail-camera picture near Lafayette.

Who’s Making These Licking Branches So High?
GON subscriber Michelle Rachels, of Warrenton, got this pic of a Warren County buck last Nov. 23 at 6:13 a.m.

Furless In Hiawassee: This picture of a hairless bear was taken on Aug. 14 in Towns County. “We get plenty of pics of bears this time of year, but I’ve never seen one like this. It must have mange or something similar,” said GON subscriber Tom Halasz.
