“Appreciate The Food, But Y’all Gotta Make These Things More Comfortable!” Longtime GON member Tracy Howard, of Dexter, said he thought he was building a deer feeder from a 30-gallon drum. “Looks more like a bear bathtub,” Tracy said. He got lots of pics of this Laurens County bear.

Straight-On Airborne Attack: GON member Curly Chase, of Between, got this picture on his Washington County hunting property on July 30.

Full Moon Madness: You know what they say about full moon nights. Maybe it brings out some odd behavior in deer, too. This shot from Sept. 24 was captured in Jeff Davis County by GON member Derek Jacobs, of Hazlehurst.

Those Doe Eyes: The term “doe eyes” usually means a lady with large brown eyes—like a doe deer—and is considered a very attractive trait. Drew Respess, of Valdosta, got a picture of a doe that gives new meaning to pretty eyes.

Predator And Prey: A bobcat must have been staking out this feeder and gave a squirrel some excitement. Brent Treadaway, a GON subscriber from Atlanta, got this photo in Macon County.
