Odd Friends: Rennie Black, of Newnan, says this buck and raccoon ate together nearly every night during the summer.

Stewart Hainey was curious as to why a Greene County doe he shot was buried in leaves when he found it. He placed his Moultrie Camera and got several shots of the culprit, including this one in which the half-buried deer is visible.

One of these birds is doing his own thing: This Upson County field was filled with turkeys, including this nice longbeard, on March 16. Todd Chambley’s camera got the shot.

This high-racked Quitman County bruiser walked by the Deer Cam of Dade City, Fla.’s Dean Gray.

This large piebald buck has been patrolling the Talbot County lease of Alan Everson and Phil Harris for the past couple of years. Alan’s camera captured the buck in velvet during the summer of 2003, and Phil sent it to GON.

Teasing Toms: Forrest Green of Cumming was probably fired up to see these two Crawford County gobblers strutting past his Cuddeback camera about a month before turkey season opened.
