Black Coyote: Steve and Mary Vollrath, GON subscribers from East Dublin, submitted this image captured on Sept. 2, 2020. It is likely a genetic mutation trait that found its way into the coyote gene pool through hybridization breedings with dogs.
A Battle He’s Never Going To Win: Barth Cadenhead, of Warner Robins, got this image on March 18 from a trail-camera at his Crawford County food plot. “This bluebird sees himself in the camera lenses and thinks it is another male invading his breeding area during mating season,” Barth said.
Make No Mistake… Cats Are Predators, And Very Good At It: John LaVecchia sent this trail-camera photo of a healthy-looking Twiggs County bobcat that hasn’t missed many meals lately.
