Strike One For The Hawk: “The hawk missed,” said Glen Gridley, a GON member from Ellijay. Glen got this awesome trail-cam photo in Gilmer County of a hawk making a pass right over a fanned-out turkey.

Pretty Buck, Beautiful Trail-Cam Picture: “This is the best trail-cam picture I have ever seen from one of my cameras,” said David Bolton, of Suwanee. “The buck is standing in a scrape about 45 yards from one of my stands in Jones County. The picture is now my desktop screen saver. The whitetail buck is among the most beautiful animals ever created.”

Year-Round Rut? “This fawn can’t be more than three or four weeks old,” said Steve Hargett. He got this photo Nov. 12 in Taliaferro County.

Got Him! GON member Bradley Moses, of Jonesboro, had motivation to get to the Hancock County woods after getting a trail-cam picture (below). “Killed this 8-point buck on Halloween day in my food plot at 5 p.m.,” Bradley said. “Used an estrous doe can call to get him to show up and close the deal!”

Another Got Him! Robby Tieman, a GON member from Bishop, had trail-cam history with this Greene County buck that was 6 1/2 years old. Robby got the buck on Nov. 2.
