Smart Pig: GON member Steven Dusterdieck, of Patterson, sent a series of trail-cam photos showing a Pierce County hog removing the bottom of the feeder to release all the corn, and then inviting the friends to the feast.

Squirrel In White: Unless Bacon County starts getting regular snow, this squirrel’s white fur isn’t doing it any camo favors. Tim Williams, of Alma, sent several trail-cam photos of the unusual squirrel. “I’ve been seeing him in the hunt club for two seasons now and have grown quite fond of him. Happy to see him return this year,” said Tim.

Well, Hello There Mr. Bluebird: How about this great shot of an Eastern bluebird hovering right in front of the trail-camera? John West, one of our Truck-Buck measurers, got this image on Sept. 27 at 10:11 a.m.

Enough Of You Eating This Corn! If you have coons taking over the feeder that basically run the deer off, this buck is your hero. Longtime GON member Gordon McFarland, of Eatonton, got this trail-cam picture in Putnam County on Dec. 3 at 2:44 a.m.

Testing, Testing… Is This Thing On? Looks like this Twiggs County buck needs to take a lesson from those Pierce County hogs above! GON member Jason Lee, of Byron, got this picture last season.
