What’s Up Back There? Someone tell this deer there’s an easier way to look behind you. GON member Shane Price, of Danielsville, said they got several pictures of this Franklin County deer looking back between its legs.

Whoa.. Is That A Duck? Coyotes are going to get some next-level hate if they start eating a bunch of ducks, too. Ricky Powell got this picture on Dec. 27 at 8:59 a.m. in Wilkes County. “This looks like a huge black coyote with a duck. They can eat anything in the woods,” Ricky said.

Uh… Behind You Dude: Mitchell Chambers, a GON member from Hampton, got a very interesting series of pictures in Henry County on Oct. 25. “In the first picture at 1:11 a.m., you can see the coyote in the background sneaking around the buck,” Mitchell said. “Thirteen minutes later at 1:24 a.m., you can see that the coyote has snuck within inches of the buck (photo above). That he was able to do this surprises me. The next shot I got 29 minutes later at 1:53 a.m. shows the buck back enjoying his corn. Obviously the coyote was unsuccessful, but we have a healthy lone coyote attempting to attack a healthy mature buck. I am of the opinion that coyotes are more aggressive than we give them credit for.”

Bobcat Catches Beaver! It’s one thing to get a beaver on your trail-cam… not something you see often. It’s quite another level of something to get a series of pictures of a beaver being attacked and caught by a bobcat! GON member Mark McCarty, of Alma, got several pictures of this action in Bacon County back in December of 2019.
