“If It Weren’t For This Tree, I’d Really Let You Have It!” Not sure we’ve ever seen bucks fight with a tree between them. Micheal Simmons, a GON member from Jefferson, got this trail-cam picture in Gilmer County near Ellijay at 3 p.m. on Oct. 23. “Not quite sure if they’re fighting each other or they’re both fighting the tree,” Michael said.

Let’s See… What’s On The Trail Camera This Week: Well, a great blue heron, of course! GON member Chad Long, of Griffin, got this flyby on Dec. 13 at 2:30 p.m. in Henry County.

More Spillage Please! Don’t worry, momma hog looks like she’s good at spilling plenty of corn for the piglets. GON member Paul Wallace, of Albany, got this picture in Dougherty County at 10:48 a.m. on New Years Day.

Run! Mom’s Fighting Again!” Nevin Hooley, a GON subscriber from Ranger, got this action shot in Floyd County on Oct. 1.

Baldwin County’s Madusa: Col. John Haynie submitted these pictures of a buck nicknamed “Madusa” that’s been seen, but not shot, as far as we know. “This old guy was seen twice this year on my farm in Baldwin County but never offered a choice shot. Would love to know if any more like this have been seen,” said retired Colonel Haynie.
