Bears In Colquitt County? This One Was Hard To Miss! Thanks to trail-camera pictures, we know this black bear hung around Colquitt County for about a month late last summer. GON subscriber Ryan Branch, of Chula, sent this great picture from Aug. 31 of the bear making itself at home in Ryan’s feeder.

For Those Who Say They Have Never Seen A Big Mountain Buck Up Close: Is this close enough? Mike Hanna got this funny picture of an extreme close-up in Fannin County last year.

Broken Antlers—Tactic to Survive Hunting Season? “My trail cam captured what would have been two nice Washington County bucks in the same frame at the same time,” Gary Stewart said. “It’s funny that each one has the opposite part of their rack missing.”

STRETCH! Haley and Ashley Spell, subscribers from Ocilla, sent this great picture captured in Irwin County on Dec 1 at 4:55 a.m.  “We placed the camera near a cypress pond in hopes of getting a few deer pictures as they came in for a drink. What we didn’t expect was this big bob,” said Haley.
