Gliding In Like A Stealth Bomber: Love this picture submitted by GON member Bobby Brown, of Danielsville. Bobby got this super-sharp shot of a hawk in his backyard in Madison County on Dec. 10.

Ground And Pound: It was like a UFC fight take down for this buck. Chance James, of Blackshear, got this trail-cam picture on Oct. 15, 2018 in Pierce County.

Just A Flesh Wound: GON member Steve Hargett, of Gainesville, sent these photos from Taliaferro County after the 2018 deer season. “Attached are two pictures of a buck we have had on camera for four years. Look at the daytime pic and the wound on his left side of his neck. My call is from fighting. What do you think? The next pic is from a week later at night eating in a food plot. He looks healthy.” Wonder if he made it?

Impressive Tail Feathers: Lee Eshleman was using a trail camera in Burke County to try to locate turkeys. Well, he got some turkeys—and something extra! “Nobody knows where this ‘Asian’ gobbler has come from, but he has an interest in the local hens,” said neighboring property owner Bill Brookshire Jr.

Southwest Georgia Bear: There are bears in middle and south Georgia and north Florida, but which direction did this one come from that was spotted in Quitman County? Rod Zeratsky sent this trail-cam photo taken on Sept. 19 at 4:50 a.m. “First time in 22 years on our Quitman County lease that we have ever seen a bear,” Rod said.
