Put A Tourniquet On It: This buck in Meriwether County apparently about to shed its antlers came in for a close up. “Amazing the amount of blood they lose in this process,” said Scott Cochran, of Roswell, who submitted the picture.

Smart Gobblers: These Hancock County turkeys figured out they didn’t have to wait on the feeder to spin out corn. Gordon McFarland, of Eatonton, sent the picture.

Loving The Buckhead Life: Some ladies are just made for big city living. This doe seems to be quite happy living in the Buckhead area of Atlanta, where Chris Haase got this trail-cam picture.

Waiting On That Magic Corn: GON subscriber Stacey Wilson, of Stone Mountain, sent this picture taken on Feb. 2 at 5:59 p.m. Stacey described the picture: “A herd of nine Johnson County deer that survived the 2015 hunting season waiting on the corn god to supply a feast.”

Boxing Deer: While a pair of Stephens County deer go at it with hooves flying, the other deer in the picture apparently could care less. Melvin Garman, of St. Marys, got this picture on May 7, 2015.

That Explains The Food Shortage: GON subscriber Jeff Thompson figured out why the deer never had any food to eat in his Union County feeders—these Blairsville bears were feasting.
