Bears Gone Wild: This interaction between two middle Georgia bears is from Oct. 6 in Houston County. Harvey Hammock, of Byron, said the bears were taking over. “I put the camera out, and in one week I had 144 pictures — one picture of a deer and 143 pictures of bears,” he said.

Close-Up Fox:  Thirteen-year-old Åustin Garrett, of Carrollton, submitted this photo of the first-ever fox they’ve seen on their camera behind Austin’s grandmother’s house in Bowdon.

Back Off Coon! This doe is high-stepping aggressive toward a raccoon.
