Gary Arnold and his daughters Ashley and Courtney, all of Gumbranch, killed this 11-foot, 6-inch Altamaha River gator Sept. 17, 2010.

 

Mary Kathryn Heisel, of Lavonia, killed this nice Franklin County 8-pointer on Nov. 13, 2010.

 

Andrew Arnold, of Americus, was holding out for his first deer to be a trophy buck, and boy did he ever meet that criteria on Nov. 28, 2009. Andrew killed this 157-inch Sumter County buck while hunting with his dad.

 

Nicole Darity, of Athens, killed her first racked buck Nov. 13, 2010, this Washington County 8-pointer.

 

J.C. Callahan, of Mershon, said he felt like a kid on Christmas after shooting this Pierce County 10-pointer Oct. 22, 2010. It had a live-weight of 212 pounds.

 

In 10 years of bear hunting, Kyle Devore, of Dallas, saw his first bear Oct. 2, 2010 at Cohutta WMA. He arrowed the 250-lb. male, and it fell within 50 yards.

 

Kevin Merck, of Gainesville, the JV baseball coach at East Hall High School, caught this 4 1/2-lb. shoal bass out of the Chattahoochee River on Aug. 6, 2010.

 

Bradfield Evans, of Hope Hull, Al., killed his best deer to date the afternoon of Dec. 1, 2010. He said the Lee County 10-pointer should measure in the 140s.
