What a first deer for Rachel Barfield, 6, of Shellman. She was hunting with her dad in Randolph County on Dec. 10.

Ten-year-old Jonathan McCant, of Milledgeville, killed his first deer on Oct. 14 while hunting in Baldwin County.

Archer Googe, of Marietta, caught this bream in Sumter County at his Uncle Rat’s pond on New Year’s Eve.
