John Adams got his first buck with a crossbow while hunting in Madison County.

Hunter Cantrell, 9, of Tate, got his first bow-kill on Sept. 29 in Cherokee County. It green-scored 115 3/8 inches.

Hadden Williams, 10, of Valdostda, took his first deer ever on Oct. 15 in Brooks County.

Coleton Bowen, 8 of Carrollton, took his first buck on Oct. 14 in Meriwether County.

Brayton Dyer, 9, of Ball Ground, with a Washington County muzzleloader doe from Oct. 14.

Boone Norman, 6, used his crossbow to kill his first buck, an 8-point in Jasper County on Oct. 5.
