Grayson Ellis, 10, of Covington, was hunting with his paw paw on Oct. 7 in Rockdale County when he killed his first deer with a crossbow.

Days before his ninth birthday, Dominic Vestal, of Pine Mountain Valley, got his first deer while hunting in Harris County.

Odds are that Camden Davis, of Jasper, is one of only a few 10-year-olds to kill a bear. He killed this one Nov. 3 in Pickens County.

Caleb Gray, 13, of Dublin, passed up shots at a doe and a monster 4-pointer before dropping this big boar hog while hunting in Wilkinson County on Dec. 10.

 

Bradyn Moses, 4, of Jonesboro, is hooked for life after catching his first fish. The crappie came from a private lake in Douglasville on Jan. 5.

A 13-year-old from Rutledge did business with a Walton County tom last March 18. The young hunter was Riley Howard.
