Hunt Story
Jase Cepuran, 10, from Morgan County, shot his first buck of the season on private land in Putnam County. Jase loves to hunt, so after a long day of soccer games, he rushed to the stand with his father. After sitting in the tree stand for a while, he may have dose off for a short little nap. Awakening to the sound of a doe coming in, his eyes lite up when he saw this buck was following her in. With his heartbeat racing fast, he got situated, saw him nicely through the scope and made a great shot. Less than an hour later, Jase was tracking the deer on his own and found him about 80 yards away. It was a great father-son sit, and they look forward to many more.
